Sno-ma-mee - n. Snowmachine.
Often followed by "on," "havit" (have it), "brrrmmm" or "nearrrrr." Non-Alaskans call these vehicles snow mobiles. Luke will say snomamee (repeatedly until confirmed as correct) when he hears the loud two-stroke machines race by our house or when he sees them through the house or car window (or sunroof)...or in the freezer aisle of the grocery store.
